Rally Queensland open for entries

The countdown has well and truly begun for the 2021 Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland, with entries opens and Supplementary Regulations now available for interested crews.

The new look event will act as the second round RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship having replaced the Make Smoking History Forest Rally earlier this year due to uncertainties surrounding the Western Australian border.

Unlike the ARC’s 2021 season opener in Canberra, the 2021 Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland will be a sprint event for ARC competitors, where crews will tackle about 160 competitive kilometres across 12 stages.

The sprint format also means the event is split up into two heats with 50 points go to the winner for the Saturday’s six stages and 50 points to the winner of the Sunday’s six stages, while there will once again be bonus points on offer to Sunday afternoon’s Golden Hills Power Stage top five.

Crews interested in participating in the second round of the 2021 ARC season have until Friday, 7 May to enter with the entry list capped at 60 crews.

The event will also host the second round of the 2021 Motorsport Australia Queensland Rally Championship season, which will see participating crews contest just the Saturday’s six stages.
