Rally Champions Among Driving Greats In Speed On Tweed Special Guest Line-UP

Bates_Corolla_copyFOUR-time Australian Rally Champions Neal Bates and Coral Taylor promise a thrilling demonstration of world-class rally driving when they take to the track at the South Coast Automotive Speed on Tweed at Murwillumbah in northern New South Wales next weekend.
Piloting their Toyota Corolla Super 2000 rally car, Bates and co-driver Taylor will join an impressive line-up of special guest drivers from past and present eras, scheduled also to include three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jack Brabham, historic racing expert John Cummins, touring car identities Colin Bond, John French and Max Stahl and former sports car racer Denis Geary.

  

 

 

Rally Victoria Supports Cambodian Children's Fund

Rally Victoria is pleased to announce the Cambodian Children's Fund (CCF) as the event charity of choice. Proceeds from the car parking, a raffle to be held at the Rally and a charity auction at the post event dinner of donated products from our event  sponsors will all be donated to the fund.

 

 

Simon Evans Wins Fourth Australian Rally Championship

Simon__Sue_Evans_in_actionSimon Evans has won his fourth Australian Rally Championship in the last five years after a dominating win at the International Rally of Queensland – his third in a row in this year’s series.

The 2010 title continues a remarkable run for Evans and his co-driver wife Sue, adding to championship victories in 2006, 2007 and 2009.

Evans has now won four championships in three different makes of rally car; scoring consecutive titles for Toyota in 2006 and 2007, winning in a Mitsubishi Lancer in 2009, and finally success in a Subaru Impreza this year.
