Organisers for the 2023 Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland are hoping their changes to its new-look Rally Central will add to the atmosphere of the event.
Serving as the third round of the Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC), the Queensland round will see Australia’s best rally crews complete more than 200 competitive kilometres across 14 stages.
As always, the KickAss Rally Village will be the best place for fans to get up close to the drivers and see teams working on the cars in between stages.
KickAss Products won’t be the only organisation to have a presence at the Rally Village with the likes of Australian Brisket Boards, Gympie Motor Group and Baden Civil Contracting all having thrown their support behind the rally.
Across the weekend at the KickAss Rally Village, Australian Brisket Boards will be hosting a trade stall for the whole weekend while the Gympie Motor Group will have a display of cars on hand promoting their organisation.
Although the slick cutting board company won’t be selling the popular meat dish with their products, fans will get their BBQ hit with Wild Wood Barbeques serving as the main caterer at KickAss Rally Village.
Clerk of Course Brian Everitt was delighted with the new additions to the KickAss Rally Village.
“We’re stoked to have a large amount of interest in this event and are pleased to have KickAss Products get behind the Rally Village,” Everitt said.
“A lot of our demographic would have quite a bit to do with the company so the fit between KickAss Products and Rally Queensland is a very good one in our minds.
“It’s also fantastic to have Australian Brisket Boards, Gympie Motor Group and Wild Wood Barbeques in attendance too – each are great additions and offer plenty of value for attendees.
“This whole spectacle is a bit of a new exercise for us. What we are trying to achieve is a Rally Village look and feel. We have structured the layout of the Service Park to help that along.
“So on top of the above companies, I would also like to say thanks to the Gympie Show Society and the Gympie Turf Club for their support in providing us with a great event location.”
In addition to all the above activations, the KickAss Rally Village will also open up to a whole other community as it hosts a pool of markets on the Sunday.
The 2023 Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland takes place in Gympie on 22-23 July.
