Following the recent announcement of plans for the 2020 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup and Hoosier Challenge, the sporting and technical regulations for these events are now available, including details of a new ‘power stage’ for November’s Cup event.
As part of the new RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup, a ‘power stage’ will be held at November’s Netier National Capital Rally as the final stage of the event, providing competitors with another exciting opportunity in 2020. Further details of the power stage and any prizes for this component of the event will be available in the lead up to the rally.
It has also been confirmed a separate RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup for 2WD competitors will also be awarded on top of the outright Cup at the Netier National Capital Rally.

Meanwhile, the Hoosier Challenge, which will be held at a number of state based rally events in 2020 (see below for full list), will also offer a special deal on those choosing to be eligible for the Hoosier Challenge. Competitors must compete on Hoosier tyres, with those doing so able to take advantage of a ‘buy three, get one free’ tyre offering. Those taking advantage of this deal must use the tyres in the event they are ordered for.
An updated tyre order form for competitors is available on rally.com.au here.
