Peugeot Australia partners with ARC

Peugeot Australia will be the Official Commercial Vehicle partner of the RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship in 2021.

The spacious and comfortable Peugeot Boxer Van will now be a regular feature at each ARC round this season, with the van also playing a key role in helping Motorsport Australia deliver each event, thanks to its impressive cargo capacity.

Peugeot has been a key player in the commercial van space and the Boxer, the largest of the range, is reliable, clean – meeting Euro6 emissions standards – economical and easy to drive.

The van’s low floor height and dual sliding doors, along with wide rear swing doors, make loading simple for a variety of uses, including the many needs at an ARC event, whether it’s setting up a service park, or unloading signage at a Power Stage remote location.

Motorsport Australia Director of Motorsport & Commercial Operations Michael Smith was thrilled to welcome Peugeot Australia to the growing ARC family.

“To have Peugeot as the Official Commercial Vehicle Partner of the RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship is a real boost for the growing stature of the ARC,” Smith said.

“Peugeot’s Boxer Van is a very adaptable and comfortable vehicle that will also assist us greatly in delivering each ARC round. We’re delighted to have Peugeot on board and their support will make each event even easier for our organising team in 2021.

“With extended coverage of each round via 7plus and a growing list of sponsors, we are really excited about the 2021 season.”

Kate Gillis, General Manager Peugeot Australia, added: “We’re delighted to join the ARC as the official Commercial Vehicle Partner for 2021.

“Peugeot’s commercial vehicles are able to meet a multitude of business and recreational requirements, including motorsport support, and the Peugeot Boxer is a perfect match to assist the organising teams in delivering an impressive season of events.

“We’re confident those who experience the van throughout the season will be impressed with the ease of use, adaptability and suitability of a Peugeot van.”

The RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship begins this month, with the Netier National Capital Rally in Canberra from 26-28 March.
