Pedders on board for Eureka Rush

Pedders Suspension and Brakes will play a key role in the fourth round of the CAMS Australian Rally Championship, with the company to take on naming rights of the Ballarat event.

To be known as the Pedders Eureka Rush, the shortened event will follow a similar schedule to the recent one-day Netier National Capital Rally which proved popular with competitors and fans.

While the majority of the action will take place on Sunday, 25 August, the Pedders Eureka Rush will also feature a 2.8km Super Special Stage in Ballarat’s West Industrial Estate.

Pedders Managing Director Mark Pedder said the company was thrilled to be backing the event, which was sure to provide plenty of action in the Victorian town.

“Rallying is in our DNA. Pedders has been intrinsically linked with Rallying all over Australia for many decades, our staff and customers love it and we are very proud to take on the naming rights to the Pedders Eureka Rush,” Pedder said.

“Ballarat is an important region for our business and we look forward to working closely with the event organisers to put on a fantastic show for all spectators, competitors and officials to enjoy.”

Pedders Eureak Rush Clerk of Course Andrew Roseman said the backing of Pedders was a terrific vote of confidence in the event.

“Pedders have a long and distinguished association with rallying at the highest levels,” Roseman said.

“The Pedders brand is synonymous with success so we couldn’t be happier to work with them at the Pedders Eureka Rush on August 24 and 25 in Ballarat.”

The event has also confirmed Victorian Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Martin Pakula will flag off the rally at the Super Special Stage on the Saturday evening.

More spectator details about the Pedders Eureka Rush will be confirmed in the coming weeks and months.
