Ahead of one of the most competitive season’s in the CAMS Australian Rally Championship, the support for teams continues to rise – Harry Bates the latest to confirm a sponsor partnership extension.
Netier, naming rights partner of the Netier National Capital Rally in Canberra, will continue to support the Toyota Gazoo Racing driver in 2019.
The Canberra-based IT company were one of Bates’ first sponsors and have partnered with the Championship contender for the past four years.
“Having this much support from Netier for not only myself, but my home rally as well has been amazing. As a business, they have come on board and done great things for my sport in Canberra, on top of all their other community work, which is very inspiring to see,” Bates said.
Bates will tackle this year’s Championship in a brand new Toyota Yaris AP4, with younger brother Lewis set to take the intra-team rivalry up a notch, steering the same spec Yaris Harry drove in late-2017 and throughout 2018.
Director of Netier, Gordon Hayes, said the partnership was a natural fit.
“Coming into our fourth year of sponsorship with Harry Bates and our second year of sponsorship of the Netier National Capital Rally we are thrilled to see how far both Harry and the event have come,” Hayes said.
“Harry has achieved some enormous goals in his rally career and now with Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia behind him we are excited to see where 2019 will take him. Although we have clients nationally, Netier is a Canberra based business and we are always looking for opportunities to support local people and organisations where there is a good synergy.”
