Neal Bates Motorsport’s Lewis Bates and Coral Taylor have retired from the Netier National Capital Rally.
Bates broke an oil line on the Toyota Corolla S2000 after an awkward landing over a jump towards the end of SS2 Hibernian I, damaging the engine.
With the Neal Bates Motorsport team unable to repair the S2000 to rejoin the event, Bates will now look to round four of the CAMS Australian Rally Championship when crews head to the Subaru Rally Tasmania on 27-29 July.
