Irish superstar Frank Kelly is the first entry in the South Australian round of the CAMS Australian Rally Championship to be held 15-17 September 2017.
Frank is well known to rally fans around the world thanks to YouTube videos of his impressive performances in a Ford Escort Mk2, and will be one of the drawcard entries in the September event.
Kinetics Group Director, David McDonough is making this exciting news possible via sponsorship from his companies Bott Storage Systems and KRS, based right here in Adelaide
David commented, “Following our recent backing of Frank in New Zealand, we are pleased that we are able to extend that support to the ARC round in our home state of South Australia. I first met Frank at his workshop in Dungannon, Ireland back in 2013 and over the years, we always talked about getting him on our side of the globe. I am happy that we have been able to realise this and in doing so, continue our support of classic rallying.
“Our companies from the group supporting Frank, Bott Storage Systems and KRS, both have operations in Australia and UK so it’s good exposure from someone who epitomises our business values of focus and commitment”
Ivar Stanelis, Clerk of Course was very upbeat, and said “ I am truly delighted to receive this as a first entry and believe it will provide a real boost to our national and state championship, and to Lightforce Rally SA. This kind of support is very welcome, and will be a boon for all our fans. I can’t wait to see them in action in the famous Barossa Valley in September and I think motor sport enthusiasts will come from far and wide”
