Excitement starting to build around Coffs Coast Rally

The entry list is growing for the final round of the RSEA Motorsport Australia Rally Championships (ARC) on the Coffs Coast next month.

Eighteen crews are currently signed up for the 2022 Supercheap Auto Coffs Coast Rally, which also hosts the finale of the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship.

With the Adelaide Hills Rally still to be run later this month, numbers are expected to rise in the coming weeks for the event.

Headlining the confirmed list of entrants so far for the New South Wales based event is international star, Hayden Paddon, who is fresh from his WRC2 win at last month’s New Zealand Rally.

While Paddon is only entered in the APRC component of the event, Ronald Bustard is the one of the most notable entrants confirmed for the ARC, with the Queenslander currently sitting in the top five in the championship standings.

Hayden Paddon will be looking to win the the FIA ASIA Pacific Rally Championship.

The New South Wales Motorsport Australia Rally Championship will also feature throughout the weekend with current championship leader Riley Walters already entered for the event.

In what is likely to be an entertaining final round of the championship, Walters’ closest rival in Tony Sullens sits just one-point him on the standings and has confirmed his entry for the event.

Entries for the event are still being accepted with interested competitors having until Friday 11 November to register.

The event will begin with the APRC Shakedown on the Thursday before crews will then tackle three-day’s worth of competitive stages to close out the season.

This includes the two side-by-side action packed stages at the Raleigh Raceway, where both the ARC and APRC will feature on-track together.

The 2022 Supercheap Auto Coffs Coast Rally will take place on the Coffs Coast on 25-27 November.
