The Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC) will once again light up the Adelaide Hills when the championship returns for an unmissable weekend of action.
The country’s top rally drivers will tackle some of the best and most technical roads Australia has to offer when The Bend Motorsport Park hosts the fifth round of the ARC season in October.
In addition to the ARC, the event will also be hosting the final round of the South Australian Rally Championship (SARC), which will see local crews take on most of the event.
A provisional itinerary has been locked in with 25 stages throughout the three-day event, kicking off with two stages at The Bend Motorsport Park, before the second day of competition will have competitive stages throughout the Callington, Mt Barker and Meadows to Strathablyn regions.
Saturday evening will see crews return to The Bend for Super Special Stages where two cars will take to the track at the same time and go head-to-head for the fastest times.
Sunday will then see the final stages take place in the Rockleigh and Walkers Flat regions and back again for a number of special stages.
Adding to the grand spectacle of the Adelaide Hills Rally at The Bend Motorsport Park will be the final round of the 2023 Shannons Trophy Series, which will including popular national racing categories such as the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia and Radical Australia Cup.
Ultimate Motorsport Events Director, Andrew Admiraal was looking to what he hoped would be a big weekend.
“We are very excited at the opportunity to have the ARC back in the Adelaide Hills region and co-exist with the other national categories taking place across the weekend,” Admiraal said.
“It has been great to see the ARC grow the way it had in the last couple of years, last time it was here in October it was well received and we are pleased to be involved as it continues to grow.
“The competition is going to be tense and tight, and it will bring a great spectacle to the regions for all to watch.
“The Bend Motorsport Park offers up a unique rally experience for all crews and spectators alike, it’s something you can’t find anywhere else on the calendar.
“The preparation is going well; we believe the itinerary we have proposed will maximise the potential of the event and we are glad to have so much support in doing so.
“We’re also pleased to racing simultaneously with the Shannons Trophy Series in what will be the final round of its first ever season, so I anticipate the event will be quite big this year.’
The fifth round of the Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship will take place in the Adelaide Hills on 13-15 October.
