Entertainment named for Rally Australia

Entertainment for this year’s Kennards Hire Rally Australia has been revealed with local star Kailey Pallas named as one of the headlining acts, alongside Dragon.

The 19-year-old will perform as part of a new entertainment offering at the Coffs Coast event, with rock legends Dragon also putting on a special concert at the Pedders Rally Central Service Park on Saturday 16 November.

With Rally Australia hosting both the CAMS Australian Rally Championship and FIA World Rally Championship’s season finales, there will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the weekend both on and off the fast rally roads.

The concert will be free for holders of the four-day Ultimate Get Me Everywhere ticket.

Pallas said she was looking forward to showing off her talent on the world stage.

“I can’t wait to perform at Rally Australia in my home town,” Pallas said.

“It’s such an exciting international event and it will be a big thrill to be a part of it.

“I’ve just had a ride in a rally car and can really understand what it’s about, so now I hope some of the WRC drivers will come along to the concert and hear what I can do.”

While her fellow headliners will be rocking the stage with their popular new wave and progressive rock genre, Pallas will be sticking to the style that has made her a hit both here and abroad with a mixture of soul, blues and country pop.

Dragon, the iconic Kiwi band, won’t be the first big band the young star has played alongside, with Pallas having performed to live audiences since she was just six years old, sharing the stage the likes of Sir John Rowles, Shannon Noll and Daryl Braithwaite.

Kennards Hire Rally Australia will takes place in the forests of the Coffs Harbour coast on 15-17 November.
