Bigger, better service park for Netier National Capital Rally

The Netier National Capital Rally service park will move to a new home in 2018 at Pialligo Estate, within three kilometres of Canberra’s International Airport and only 15 minutes drive from the city centre.

Pialligo Estate, a farm featuring a vineyard, olive groves and award winning market and herb gardens, will host a service park on a bigger scale to previous years. And with only a short drive to Kowen Forest, spectators will be able to make their way between the two areas with ease throughout the weekend of 2–3 June.

Spectators will have the opportunity to meet both international and Australian rally drivers and enjoy the rally action whilst soaking up the Canberra skyline views and eating fresh local produce from Pialligo Estate. There will also be a market day on the Sunday with other local Canberra vendors.

The Netier National Capital Rally launch will also be held at Pialligo Estate in the Garden Pavilions overlooking the vineyards, olive grove and Canberra’s skyline featuring Parliament House and Black Mountain tower.

Michael Wallace, Event Manager said Pialligo Estate is a true Canberra location.

“Pialligo Estate is located right on the river and in close proximity to Kowen Forest. Spectators are going to have such an amazing experience at The Pialligo Estate Service Park this year, meeting the rally drivers at such a prime location whilst enjoying a coffee and lunch from Pialligo Estate.”
