Rally fans attending the 2018 Kennards Hire Rally Australia in November can experience one of the best views in rally during the Raleigh Special Stage.
The special stage will provide fans with an amphitheater like atmosphere and with the stage measuring just 1.97 kilometers, it’s one of the shortest stages throughout the 318 kilometer scheduled course.
The stage will take place in the multi-purpose Raleigh International Raceway where competitors will cover the entire mostly-tarmac course clockwise, the reverse direction to previous years.
With a giant video screen to keep spectators informed across the whole weekend, former CAMS Australian Rally Champion Nathan Quinn believes the stage is perfect for some entertaining world rally action.
“Tight and technical, it rewards the brave especially at the second-last corner and the best will show you how the ‘Scandinavian flick’ works,” Quinn said.
“Muck it up and you might demonstrate the ‘Alaskan roll’ – not ideal.
“This is the place to cheer loudly and make sure us Aussie competitors can hear you.”
The Raleigh Special Stage is one of 24 stages that make up the 2018 Kennards Hire Rally Australia, which acts as the final round of both the World Rally Championship and the CAMS Australian Rally Championship.
Tickets are available online, with the $99 all-event Ultimate Get MeEverywhere available for purchase until Tuesday, 31 July.
The Kennards Hire Rally Australia will take place on 15 – 18 November around the New South Wales town of Coffs Harbour.
