ARC 2WD Cup’s new haul

Shamrock Haulage has thrown its support behind the 2021 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship, coming on as a naming rights partner for the ARC 2WD Cup.

With the Cup to be known as the Shamrock Haulage ARC 2WD Cup, the competition will be open to all eligible 2WD vehicles, both front and rear wheel drive.

The Shamrock Haulage ARC 2WD Cup is just one of multiple classes to feature in the ARC next year, joining the White Wolf Constructions ARC Production Cup, ARC Junior Cup and ARC Classic Cup as different competitions to encourage crews of all levels to join the championship.

Owned by regular rally competitor Richie Dalton, Shamrock Haulage provides clients across the Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage and the Transport and Logistics industries with an ever-expanding fleet of large-scale vehicles.

A big advocate for the ARC, Dalton was proud to join the growing list of supporters behind the championship.

“I’ve really enjoyed competing in the ARC over the years and I am excited to give back to the sport in some capacity by sponsoring the ARC 2WD Cup,” Dalton said.

“There has always been a great amount of competition amongst the 2WD entries at both state and national level, so we’re proud to be able to back these crews for 2021 .

“With so much interest already surrounding next year’s ARC, it’s looking to be a fantastic year and we can’t wait until the Netier National Capital Rally in March.”

Motorsport Australia Director of Motorsport and Commercial Operations Michael Smith thanked Dalton and his company.

“Seeing Shamrock Haulage jump on board for 2021 further reiterates how strong the ARC is looking for 2021,” Smith said.

“We have seen an overwhelming amount of support for these new Cups and we’re confident the Shamrock Haulage ARC 2WD Cup, along with the championship as a whole, will continue to grow.”
