Entries for the 2023 PowerPlay Adelaide Hills Rally are now open.
Serving as the penultimate round of the 2023 Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC) season, the South Australian event will offer up a big challenge for the country’s best rally crews.
Running as the fourth and final Sprint event for 2023, the rally will see crews complete 187 competitive kilometres over 25 stages, which be split into two heats where points will be on offer in both.
Interested crews have until 6pm ACST on Friday 29 September to enter the event, which can be done via the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.
Held over three days in October, the rally will include multiple locations around the state, including the picturesque Adelaide Hills region and the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend.
The action begins at the Tailem Bend circuit on the Friday night with two passes of the eight-kilometre GT circuit stage, before Heat 1 continues on Saturday with a further 84 competitive kilometres.
Spread across 12 stages – crews will complete the first 10 stages in the Mt Barker and Strathabyn areas before finishing the day off with two quickfire Super Special Stages at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park’s Stadium Circuit as per previous years.
The event’s remaining 80km will be completed in Heat 2 on the Sunday, where a further 11 stages in the forests and the track await crews, including the final EROAD Power Stage, which will be held on a dedicated rally stage located nearby the main circuit and live streamed on 7plus.
With the event hosting rounds of the Motorsport Australia South Australian Rally Championship and South Australian Regularity Series, state-entered crews will complete all stages except for Sunday’s EROAD Power Stage.
