Talent confirmed for ARC 2025 content

A new line up of talent will feature on the EROAD Australian Rally Championship (ARC) broadcast in 2025, with the five-person team to alternate hosting the championship throughout the year.

While the majority of the team are new to the ARC coverage, there will be some familiarity for fans with popular presenter Greg Rust to return after a successful stint as host last year, while former championship star and long-time pundit Dean Herridge will step into an expert commentary role at all six rounds.

One of the most experienced and well-respected personalities in the sport, Rust has been a mainstay on the coverage of the nation’s biggest motorsport events and championships for many years, regularly showcasing his versatile ability as a commentator, reporter and host.

Joining Rust as the lead anchor for events is another notable personality in the Australian sporting landscape in Chris Stubbs.

Stubbs is a familiar name to many motorsport fans, with over a decade of experience as a host, commentator, and reporter. He has played an integral role in major motorsport events such as Supercars, Shannons SpeedSeries, MotoGP and the famous Tatts Finke Desert Race.

In addition to his remarkable contribution to motorsport, Stubbs has also been covering a number of other events and sporting codes for more than two decades, including multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Australian Open and the AFL.

Each hosting three rounds, the experienced Rust and Stubbs will be joined by Jacqui Scheiwe and Taylor Marlene at alternating events.

Based in Queensland, Scheiwe is an experienced journalist who has worked for the Seven Network, as well as being a highly-sought Master of Ceremonies to host many events around the country.

Marlene, an accomplished international model and presenter, has taken on various commercial and MC roles throughout a stellar career in the spotlight spanning more than a decade, while also enjoying a strong social media presence.

In 2025, fans will be able to watch a minimum of four live stages at each round of the season, while also getting updates on all the happenings around Galvaniize Insurance Rally Central at the start and end of each day with more live content.

More details on how to watch the live stream will be announced ahead of the 2025 Toyota Gazoo Racing Rally of Canberra, which takes place in the nation’s capital on 21-23 March.

QUOTES

Greg Rust
ARC Co-Host
“Reconnecting with the sport in 2024 brought back so many great memories and restarted some fantastic friendships I have in Service Park,” Rust said.

“Over time I’ve tended to report on the action with a little commentary on Rally Australia and the ARC here and there.

“When we trialled a stage call in Tassie last year it worked so well between Deano and I. The rapport we have was instant. Collectively the coverage and what Adrian, Jill and the team are doing for the series will be a fantastic step forward for the sport.”

Chris Stubbs
ARC Co-Host
“These are some of the bravest and most skilled athletes in motorsport and after watching from afar, I can’t wait to finally be part of the team showcasing that excitement to the fans,” Stubbs said.

“I grew up in an era when Neal Bates and Coral Taylor were household names, so to see what Coral and the next generation of Bates’ Boys are achieving is incredible but the competition just gets better and better so they won’t have it all their own way in 2025.

“Rally is raw and risky but rewards the combination that can execute on the day and with such a range of conditions on offer throughout the season, expect the unexpected.

“It’s a great broadcast lineup that’s been assembled with some very experienced hands along with some fresh and energetic faces ready to get their hands (and more!) dirty sharing the stories from each event.”
