In what will be his official ARC debut, Price will contest the Subaru WRX Challenge behind the wheel of the Maximum Motorsport-prepared Subaru WRX, alongside co-driver Holly Kilbride for the one-make series.
Price needs very little introduction to motorsport fans around the country, with the Red Bull ambassador a multi-time champion across a number of internationally renowned championships and events.
Having made a name for himself on bikes both in Australia and abroad, Price’s most notable success includes winning the world-famous Dakar Rally on two occasions—becoming the first Australian to do so—and winning the prestigious Finke Desert Race a record nine times – six on the bike and three in a Trophy Truck.
In addition to his historic Tatts Finke Desert Race three-peat on four wheels between 2021 and 2023, Price secured his first-ever international event win in a Trophy Truck last year, taking out the victory in the Trophy Truck category at the SCORE Baja 500.
In 2021, Price was recognised for his contributions to motorsport by being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).
As for his rally experience, Price made his maiden appearance in the discipline last year at the Working Dog Rally in NSW alongside Kilbride, before winning the popular Rally of the Heartland late last month.

Price’s entry has come about due to the hard work of fellow Queenslander and reigning Subaru WRX Challenge champion, Glenn Brinkman, as well as the WA Car Club, On The Brink Motorsport, ARB, Smoothline Notes, PowerPlay, Information Proficiency, Maximum Motorsport, and Subaru Australia.
“I’m absolutely stoked to be making my ARC debut as part of the Subaru WRX Challenge at Forest Rally,” Price said.
“The ARC is so strong right now with some great competition throughout the field. Same goes for the Subaru WRX Challenge, and being a one-make series, there will be some really great battles in our category and I can’t wait to get to WA and tackle this opportunity head on.
“I’ve heard and seen so many amazing things about the Forest Rally—both when it comes to the stages and the unique surface we’ll be rallying on, and also how well organised this event is by the WA Car Club.
“I can’t wait to get to shakedown and really get to know the Subaru WRX and take on those iconic WA roads with Holly in the co-driver seat.
“Glenn (Brinkman) has been a huge supporter in my rally journey to date, and being able to join him in the Subaru WRX Challenge is an awesome opportunity. We’ll certainly be fighting hard to make sure he doesn’t have it easy out on stage.”
The second round of the ARC, the Forest Rally, takes place in and around the forests of Nannup in Western Australia on 22–25 May.
