2007 NEC Australian Rally Championship Sporting regulations

Australian Rally Championship Outright Awards:

Points are allocated in every heat, at every round of the NEC ARC *
Awards for the Australian Rally Champion Driver and Co-Driver will be based on points 40, 34,30, 26, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for places first to twentieth for Outright in each Heat. All heats will be counted in determining the Outright winners.
A driver or co-driver must have scored points in two or more rounds to be eligible for awards.

* The final rally of the Super Series will attract an additional 50% bonus score, save for the allocation of points for the Australian Rally Manufacturers’ Championship.

Bonus Point:

The Driver and Co-driver with the most stage wins over all of stages of each event (excluding any times allocated under NRC Article 6.9) will be allocated one additional point. If the number of stage wins is equal, then the fastest time obtained on the first special stage (not being a Super Special stage) will be used to break the tie. If this time is equal then the subsequent stages will be taken into account until the tie is broken.

Manufacturers Championship:

The Australian Rally Manufacturers’ Championship will comprise all of the events in the ARC Super Series including the Rally of Canberra / Capital Rally. The total points scored by each registered manufacturer will be counted in determining the winners of the Championship.
Points will be allocated on the basis of 40, 34, 30, 26, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for each Heat of a Super Series event (including Rally of Canberra / Capital Rally).

Privateers’ Cup:

The driver attaining the highest pointscore at the completion of the Australian Rally Championship Super Series, amongst those competitors deemed eligible by the Australian Rally Commission at its sole discretion, will be awarded the Australian Rally Championship Privateers’ Cup.
The award will be based on points 40, 34, 30, 26, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for places first to twentieth amongst all eligible vehicles in each Heat (ie, places gained by noneligible vehicles will be disregarded).
Only the best 10 heats will be counted in determining the winners.

Rally Challenge:

The driver attaining the highest pointscore at the completion of the Australian Rally Championship Super Series, amongst those competitors deemed eligible by the Australian Rally Commission at its sole discretion, will be the winner of the Rally Challenge.
Points will be scored in four events of the ARC Super Series, and these four events must be nominated be each competitor prior to competing in their first event. Competitors may compete in more than four events and will also be eligible for the Privateers’ Cup, but competitors will not score points toward the Rally Challenge in those events which are not nominated to count.
The awards will be based on points 40, 34, 30, 26, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for places first to twentieth amongst all eligible vehicles in each Heat of the events nominated by the competitor.
