Favourite rally event:
I am pre-empting that Rally Tasmania will be my favourite event – I am a Taswegian after all.
Favourite rally stage:
My favourite stage would have to be Crawford at Rally SA. It was the first gravel jump we ever attempted and I have never laughed so much in a rally – probably out of sheer surprise that we survived
Very first rally memory/experience:
I grew up in a small town called Kayena where were sent home from school early once a year due to road closures for Targa Tasmania. I used to get straight off the school bus and park myself in a paddock to wait for the cars to come through! I recently found a poster at home which was signed by Neal & Coral at the Silverdome Targa Expo – this must have been early-mid 2000’s making me about eight.
The moment you knew you were hooked on rally:
I competed in a few tarmac rallies in Tasmania before teaming up with Adam, however once I sat in his 1985 Mazda RX-7 in 2016 I knew that I would be hard pressed to find something else that gave me such a rush.
Career highlight to date:
Winning Targa Tasmania – Early Modern in 2017 was a huge highlight for me. We have also won the last two 2WD Championships, so hopefully we can make it a hattrick this year.
Most memorable rally moment:
Being lined up in Time Control behind Andreas Mikkelsen at Rally Australia 2016 was probably the most memorable moment for me and my driver as he saw me speechless for the first time in my life.
Dream rally car:
I feel like I am already living the dream with the cars we do rally
Dream road car:
Anything that will let me have a nap while getting from A to B safely.
Current road car:
Who is your idol or inspiration:
My biggest idol and inspiration in life is my wonderful Gran. She was the most cheerful and strong person and she showed me that you can always make the best out of a bad situation. She passed away two days before Rally Australia in 2017 so that is an extra special rally for me.
Best advice ever received:
Don’t let the muggles get you down.
If you could invite three people to dinner, who would they be:
The Pug Queen (Izsabella St James), Robin Williams & George Clooney – we can bond over our love of Pugs.
Tell us one thing about yourself most people don’t know:
I am currently working on starting a charity trust to raise money to distribute funds to Animal Welfare charities – watch this space.

Poatina Mountain Race, 2014.
Rally SA, 2016.
