Update your calendars! 2017 ARC Calendar announced.
The Australian Rally Championship has today announced their provisional calendar for the 2017 season.
Next year's championship will see an additional round added, with the ARC heading back to Victoria for the Eureka Rally in Ballarat for their opening round.
Rallying in the Ballarat region has a rich history in the sport and has even featured as two previous Rounds of the Australian Rally Championship, running in 1976 and again in 1978 when it was sponsored by French lighting manufacturer Marchal.
The championship will then head to Western Australia for the Quit Forest Rally in April, followed by the popular International Rally of Queensland in May.
A mid-season break will then see Rally SA as the fourth round in September, followed by the penultimate round in Canberra in October.
Rally Australia will be the final round and will see the championship wrap up on the Coffs Coast.
The International Rally of Queensland and Rally Australia dates are still awaiting approval from the FIA.
