News from the Australian Rally Commission Welcome to the website for Australian rallying. Over the last 12 months a group of volunteers has been working behind the scenes with Excite Media to rationalise and rebuild the entire site and migrate it to a platform where the people who are responsible for managing your sport have more effective control over posting content and updating information. Over time it is intended to build rally.com.au into the premier rally website, hosting information about the Australian Rally Championship and rallying more generally in Australia.
The site includes a section devoted to the workings of the Australian Rally Commission. It is through this portal that information about the activities of ARCom will be disseminated, in parallel with information available on CAMS own website. It is planned that this will include minutes of meetings, communiqués, media releases, newsletters as well as information and discussion papers about rally issues, policy and rule changes.
2010 Latest News At its recent meeting, the Australian Rally Commission discussed various recommendations brought before them in regards to existing regulations and proposed amendments to those regulations. ARCom invites feedback from interested parties on these recommendations. Since these changes need to be in place for the Scouts Rally of South Australia they will come into effect on 24 June 2010. The Commission will take into account any feedback received at it’s next meeting. Each recommendation is labelled by topic and can be opened for viewing below.
