Forest Rally entries closing soon

With the season fast approaching, so too is the cut-off date for entries for the opening round of the CAMS Australian Rally Championship, the Make Smoking History Forest Rally.

Taking place on 5-7 April, the event also features the 2019 CAMS Zestino Tyres WA Rally Championship, WA 2WD Championship, Clubman Masters and Clubman Cup series.

A competitive field will assemble in the nation’s west, including Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Harry Bates and co-driver John McCarthy, who will also represent the Japanese manufacturer with brother Lewis Bates and co-driver Anthony McLoughlin.

2016 CAMS Australian Rally Champion Molly Taylor will also be looking to get off to a strong start, competing with a new-look team led by Craig Brooks preparing a brand new Subaru WRX STi.

Fans will also get up-close to all the action, with the Super Special Stage on the Busselton foreshore and an accessible service park in the main street of the picturesque town of Nannup.

Competitive action begins in Busselton on Friday night, with Australia’s best rally drivers taking on the forests of Western Australia across Saturday and Sunday.

Hurry, entries close soon. Register here.
