Rally New Zealand Ends In Disappointment For Atkinson

Australian World Rally driver, Chris Atkinson, has had a disappointing end to Rally New Zealand, retiring on the final day with engine problems in his Impreza WRC2008. However, the 27-year old Australian retains his fourth place in the World Rally Championship, after 11 of the 15 rounds.

Atkinson Fights Back At Rally New Zealand

Subaru rally driver, Chris Atkinson, has fought back strongly on day two of Rally New Zealand, the eleventh round of the World Rally Championship. Currently lying fourth in the championship, Atkinson started the event strongly, but rolled out of yesterday’s first leg, requiring a major rebuild to his Impreza WRC2008 overnight.
