Australian Rally Championship Control Fuel
All ARC Registered competitors are required to use one of the control fuels.

Level 1 Fuel - High Performance Rally Fuel: Shell Racing Fuel - WR.

This fuel will be for use by ARC Level 1 competitors utilising turbo 4x4 cars, manufacturer entries, most Privateers’ Cup teams, and all Super 2000 category entrants. $5.17 per litre. Competitor to arrange delivery/collection with supplier.

All Level 1 fuel used must come from the official supplier and competitors are reminded to ensure they pre-order enough fuel to last for the distance of each rally, as extra supplies will not be able to be sourced throughout the event.

Level 2 Fuel – Pump Fuel
Competitors may source their own fuel providing that it meets the CAMS definition of Pump Fuel. Each competitor using Pump Fuel will need to advise the Chief Scrutineer of which fuel they are using upon request.

Drivers Registered for the ARC must utilise either Level 1 or Level 2 fuel.

Drivers competing in the Premier League (including F16 and Australia Cup) must utilise the Level 2 fuel.

Fuel varying from the manufacturer’s specification is not permitted.

- All empty fuel drums returned to the fuel distribution area by midday on Sunday before midday will be transported away from the event site by IMS.

- Any fuel and fuel drums remaining at the end of the event are the responsibility of the competitor to remove.
- Extensive fuel testing will take place throughout 2008 at the discretion of the Technical Commisioner.
