Canberra entries extended

The entry deadline for the Netier National Capital Rally has been extended with crews now having until March to enter the 2020 Motorsport Australia Rally Championship’s season opener.

Originally scheduled to close on Friday 21 February, event organisers have given potential crews an extra few weeks to get organised,with entries now closing on 9 March, while state level competitors have until 11 March to enter.

Based around the picturesque forests in Canberra, the Netier National Capital Rally will kick off the six-round ARC season, as well as act as a round of the MTA Motorsport Australia New South Wales Rally Championship, the East Coast Classic Rally Series and the Techworkz Automotive ACT Regional Rally Series.

Event organisers for the Netier National Capital Rally have also pledged to donate $25 from every entry to a bushfire relief fund, following the disastrous bushfires that have plagued Australia this summer.

The Netier National Capital will also be the first opportunity crews have to compete with the new Hoosier rally tyres, after the ARC recently selected Hoosier as the control tyre for the next three years.
